Production associate5/16/2023 The duties of this job are executed in a climate-controlled environment with few temperature or humidity extremes. May be required to move or transport up to 55 lbs. Normal or corrected to normal vision is required with good color vision, close vision, and ability to use microscope and adjust focus. Frequent movement throughout the facility is required. Sense of touch may be used to detect texture, burs and edges. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is frequently required to sit/stand and use hand to manipulate very small parts or tweezers. Willingness to attend classes or training to enhance and update knowledge and skills. Ability to follow simple verbal instructions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a number of concrete variables. Ability to read and understand specification drawings for inspection purposes. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to effectively present information to other employees, in one-on-one and small group situations Ability to read, comprehend, and utilize instructions and short correspondence with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment to monitor quality. Experience or training in manufacturing using quality systems. High school education coursework or GED required. Communicate production problems with lead people or management as needed.Promote efficient production practices by performing ongoing tasks such as cutting corner supports, making boxes, maintaining the integrity of raw material, etc.Measures parts and follows SPC procedures as required by work instructions and/or customer requirements.Inspects product continuously to maintain highest quality parts. Following work instructions, checks the parts bins at regular intervals.Monitors hoppers on the machine and keeps them adequately filled. ![]() ![]() Maintains the presses to ensure quality parts.5th shift 6PM-6:30AM Fri, Sat, & Sun (20% shift differential).3rd shift 10PM-6:30AM Sun-Thu (15% shift differential).2nd shift 2PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri (10% shift differential).They will use the quality systems and instructions that have been established to complete the assigned product.
